Deejaysystem VJ2 3.5.0 Beta 4 has been upgraded to include some files that were missing in the first release. These files provide the support for the external MIDI controllers, so they will work again after re-downloading and re-installing Beta 4.Also, support for Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 has been included.

The longly awaited new version of Deejaysystem Video is here at last (BETA for now). There are many improvements in this version, here's a preview:
  • New controllers supported: Behringer BCD-3000, Denon DN-HC4500, Numark Omni Control, Hercules DJ Console Remix / DJ Control Steel...
  • Support for any generic MIDI controller.
  • New PLAYLIST: icons by track type, colors, better appearance, mappable functions...
  • New database tools for managing the internal song database.

Hello all,

Some time ago our ISP silently changed something at the server hosting deejaysystem.com. As result we've experienced a kind of "silent blackout" on the online contact form and the forum, which in practice means that we didn't receive your messages and you didn't get a response nor an error notice. Also, forum registration emails wasn't being sent.

This issue has now been fixed so it won't happen again in the future. Or at least, if it happens again you'll receive an error message and an alternative email address to write to.

If you've tryed to contact us within the past three months and you didn't get a reply, then PLEASE write us again. Also, if you have tryed to register in the forum, then PLEASE log in using your username and password in order to get your registration email re-sent.

This blackout affected the online services only (contact form and forum). The support email for registered customers was always working properly.

New Deejaysystem VJ2 version! A rare but serious bug that caused a noticeable video lag on some systems since version 3.2beta has been definitely fixed. This one was REALLY hard to find.

As result of the fix, display memory is no longer an issue when opening multiple VJ2 instances, the video playback performance and reliability have been greatly improved, and the video engine is now fully compatible with Vista's Aero theme.

Vista Aero effects are now disabled by default in order to prevent incompatibility problems in Vista.

Do you mean that the splash screen doesn't disappear until clicked? it should go away itself after a few seconds.

Installer is the same as in previous 3.1.1 version. Did you experience the same problem in that version?

Edy, been using the Beta since release with no issues, but when I installed this official 3.2 release over top of it, now when I run VJII, it switches my Vista color scheme to "basic" and the VJII logo sticks on the screen (clicking it does make it go away).
 
Another problem is that this install isn't creating an entry in my installed programs list in Vista and it won't allow me to associate file types to it. It completely ignores this program and I cannot associate .cdg file extension.
 
Did something change from the Beta version to this production install???

These releases are the VJ2-beta consolidation and a Mk2 upgrade with the latest bugfixes. You can expect new versions frequently for now on.
