How do you mix your VJ2 and DVD’s?

   Hi All..
I have spent the last few months going from manual DJing to setting up computer using VJ2, i have a 17" touchscreen and a projector running off dual head video card. All works okay!
My problem is if i want to mix manually on the touchscreen and use a DVD player or two i will need to have mixer software and hardware for the computer to control, or have USB in and out on an external DJ mixer with phono and mic controls. I was looking at www.presonus.com Firebox. Any thoughts, recomendations or personal experience will be much appreciated!
I know i will need a switch for the video signal unless anyone can recommend something for me.
