Everytime i add a folder it opens all the files together into the DJS window.

i cannot search throw 5000+ songs while I am DJing etc.

Thanks.

i figured out a great folder option:

1)close the bottom part (little double-arrows on right side) of DJS and choose "Keep on top" in settings/options.

2)then open windows explorer to your music folder(s) (example: c:/my documents/my music) resize the window to fit under DJS.

now you can open folders and drag and drop files into the DJS players.

amazing! this program rocks and i love the customizable keyboard controls.

Currently the playlist is a simple list of songs at the old Winamp style. When you setup the software to perform auto-play, then the songs are taken from the playlist.

A future version will include a more complete playlist system, with folders, categories, etc.

There are several people (even me) that uses Mk-II combined with the explorer, just as you figured out. Currently it is a very practical way to perform live mixing. The playlist is mostly useful when letting the player alone performing auto playback.

Hey, I'm glad to see you enjoying the keyboard controls. I put a lot of time thinking and designing the best way to implement customizable controls.

Regards!
