Hi Davie,

Yes, by deleting the songinfo.sdb file you will get a clean database. Then adding your current files to the playlist will re-populate the database with the correct data.

The file is a propietary format, you cannot open it. You just have to delete it. Deejaysystem will create a new one upon startup.

Best regards,

Edy

Do you mean delete all files, and start over with new files,

or just the section that I want to change. Also what program

do you suggest opening the file with? What I find is just a few

symbals and one song name on a lot of pages in microsoft word.

I might be in the wrong file.

Thanks

Davie Lee

Hi Davie,

You can reset the search results by deleting the database file:

1.- Close all Deejaysystem programs
2.- Delete the songinfo.sdb file from the Data folder inside the Deejaysystem's setup folder. By default the full location is:

C:\Program Files\Deejaysystem\Deejaysystem Video VJ2\Data\songinfo.sdb

3.- Open Deejaysystem and add your files to the playlist.

Now the search dialog will show the results properly.

Best regards,

Can anybody tell me where to go to find the data base for the music files that I have already put in my VJ system. I have a bad music file of a lot of songs. I downloaded them again in a new file. I added them to my vj playlist. When I type in the title I now get 2 names for the same file. How do I delete the old files?

Thank You

Davie Lee
