Can anybody tell me where to go to find the data base for the music files that I have already put in my VJ system. I have a bad music file of a lot of songs. I downloaded them again in a new file. I added them to my vj playlist. When I type in the title I now get 2 names for the same file. How do I delete the old files? Thank You Davie Lee |

Hi Davie,
You can reset the search results by deleting the database file: 1.- Close all Deejaysystem programs 2.- Delete the songinfo.sdb file from the Data folder inside the Deejaysystem's setup folder. By default the full location is: C:\Program Files\Deejaysystem\Deejaysystem Video VJ2\Data\songinfo.sdb 3.- Open Deejaysystem and add your files to the playlist. Now the search dialog will show the results properly. Best regards, Edited by Edy |

Edy Do you mean delete all files, and start over with new files, or just the section that I want to change. Also what program do you suggest opening the file with? What I find is just a few symbals and one song name on a lot of pages in microsoft word. I might be in the wrong file. Thanks Davie Lee |

Hi Davie,
Yes, by deleting the songinfo.sdb file you will get a clean database. Then adding your current files to the playlist will re-populate the database with the correct data. The file is a propietary format, you cannot open it. You just have to delete it. Deejaysystem will create a new one upon startup. Best regards, |
