In latest beta version the songs that have been already played are grayed out in the playlist. You can configure how long they are grayed out at Settings > Playlist.

Also, you could open the Log file (Settings > Advanced > Log > View) for a list of the recently played songs. Use the basic mode (not detailed) so only the played songs are logged.
