Video/Audio DRAGGING

I am haing trouble with the Videos, both .VOB and .AVI (the only ones i tested) The audio and video drag whorably. mp3's are fine.  Any ideas?

Hello,

These kind of problems are likely caused by codec problems. Also, if you're using Windows Vista, you may need to upgrade your display drivers.

The common workaround is to install K-Lite Codec Pack Deejaysystem Edition, available at Deejaysystem's download page. When installing you can choose among two setup modes, Performance and Compatibility. Try installing the pack in Performance mode first. If the problem persists, then uninstall - reinstall it in Compatibility mode.

If you're using Windows Vista you need also:
  • Ensure to have the Service Pack 1 for Vista installed.
  • Ensure to have the latest display drivers provided by the display manufacturer.
