Does anyone know if there is an intension to embed Apple DRM support like the Windows DRM support in V3.1.

I suspect that many people have IPods and would welcome this feature, but from my searches for other products Apple do not give this out lightly.

Hello,

As far as I know the Apple DRM scheme is closed and propietary. In practice, this means that M4P songs can be played ONLY using Apple-based players (iTunes, iPod, etc).

You can convert your songs to MP3 so they would be playable in any player. But the only known method of converting Apple's  M4P songs to MP3 is:
  1. Use iTunes for burning a common CD-Audio with your M4P songs.
  2. Use iTunes again or any other CD-ripping software (such as CDEX) for ripping the CD tracks into MP3 files.
If anyone has any further information, please post it here.
