playlist entry timing

Hi,

Just as a suggestion but I see that this feature is missing and I would like to
see this functionality in the future. If it would be possible  to automatically trigger certain clip at a given time, and return back to the playlist (continue where it stooped) ? 

Again, it might be useful if there would be free plugin community like it was with winamp so that this and similar features might be implemented easier...
